- Received the First Guggisberg Award for outstanding Contribution to Health Delivery in Ghana.
- Recognized and Received Award as the Cultural Personality of the year 1999, by the Ghana Tourist Board of the Ministry of Tourism.
- Received the State Award in recognition of Immense Contribution to the Health Sector Development as the Minister of Health 1988-1991.
- Received Award by the Lions Club International for contribution towards the expansion of Lionism in Ghana, 1992.
- Honoured by the Brong Ahafo Regional House of Chiefs for immense Contribution towards the growth and development of the Chieftaincy Institution as a pillar of Governance in Ghana as well as in the Sub – Region of West Africa.
- As an old student, honoured by Accra Academy on it’s 70th Anniversary celebrations for outstanding contribution towards the growth and development of the school.
- On the occasion of the unveiling of the Statute of St. Benedict, the Black Patron Saint of the City of Palermo, Sicily, Italy, as part of the UNESCO Slave Route Project, was honoured by the Mayor of the City for outstanding Contribution towards the promotion of African Culture World Wide.
